Struggling to find time to work ON the business?

As a busy, responsible, driven and empathetic leader, it’s easy to spend all your time working in the business, supporting your team, tending to clients, putting out fires, and responding to what’s in front of you.

That “Urgent & Important” quadrant of work gets done, mostly, because you care. And what doesn’t get done gets worried over at night and loses you sleep.

Sound familiar?

But it’s the “Important / Not Urgent” work that’s the real killer.

Not only of your workday, good sleep, and stress levels.

But of the long-term success of your business too.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲:

🔲Write leadership keynote speech

🔲Finalise long term strategy

🔲Update Business Plan

🔲Finish B Corp submission

🔲Draft Board presentation

🔲Re-do my pitch…. on your to do list....

All of which are in my "Urgent/Not important" quadrant (though rapidly moving to my DO NOW). Then this will resonate with you.

𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁.

It’s not about time management.

It’s certainly not about working harder. Or longer.

You’re already doing that.

It’s about what you choose to put attention on.

It’s managing your energy.

It’s what you say NO to.

And what you delegate.

When you’re down in the weeds, wading through the business, it can feel impossible to find an hour, or two (and I mean outside of the weekends, weekend workers I see you!) to invest in your business, invest in yourself, your peace of mind, your sleep and your business’s future, by getting strategic.

𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗜 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳:

✅Ask my team to help me taking on tasks that drain and distract me.

✅ Attend peer coaching sessions with other entrepreneurs for ideas and accountability (yesterday's Royal Bank of Scotland Business Accelerator buddies pictured above).

✅ Invest in a one-to-one coach where two hours a month he has eyes on me, on my business, on my leadership and supports me to get my head above the weeds and towards my longer-term dreams for income, influence and impact.

If you’d like support working on YOUR business*, get in touch, I can help you.

*It might be YOUR business, it may be someone else’s, it may be a non-profit. Same problems, same solution. I've got your back.
