Five Questions to Up your Contribution

I partner with purpose-driven leaders across the across the private, public and non-profit sector, to accelerate their impact in the world, with such ease, joy and efficiency, they create waves of contribution beyond their circle of influence, enjoy the ride, and sleep well at night.

What unites my clients, in addition to their hyper-achieving and people-pleasing natures, is a burning desire to make a difference, to make their lives count, and to enjoy experimenting with what works within the safe space of my support.

If you’d love to up your contribution in the world, here’s five questions to ask yourself.

I've given you some of my ideas, what comes up for you?

Q1. What do I stand for?

Actions speak louder than words; if a Martian were to come down to earth and watch the way you operate, show up, work and live your life, what would they read as your message for the world?

Ø equality of opportunity

Ø sustainable livelihoods

Ø living your best life

Ø collaboration and coopetition

Ø effectiveness and efficiency

Ø exploration and adventure fuel growth

Ø freedom

Q2. What am I known for?

If you were to ask your family, friends, colleagues and clients three-five words to describe you, what would they say (recommend actually asking them)!

Ø My unwavering and infectious positive energy

Ø My commitment and hard work

Ø Approachability and ability to have their back

Ø Challenging questions that coach out their answers

Ø Courageous (stupid?) career changes

Ø Inspiring Leadership

Ø Not being very kind to myself

Q3. What makes me feel alive?

When are you in your happy place, where you are full of energy, joy, ideas and anything is possible?

Ø Travel and exploration

Ø Meeting new people

Ø Maintaining long term relationships

Ø Idea sparking conversations

Ø Client breakthroughs that move them forward

Ø Getting sweaty in the gym

Q4. What triggers me enough to take action on?

Think back to the last time you called someone out, went out of your way to lend a hand, or spoke up despite your nerves – what was the subject that inspired and motivated you to put your head above the parapet?

Ø Stereotypes

Ø Exclusion

Ø Mis-used resources

Ø Underutilised potential

Ø Moaning and winging without taking action

Q5. Am I ready to meet my maker?

A deep one stolen from my coach Rich Litvin’s Manifesto. Are you ready to meet your maker? Have you been living life to your potential, and if life were to end today, would you be leaving the legacy you want to?

If you had an extra year, what would make the difference?

When you’re done with the five questions, book a book a 15 minute connect call to fill me in and come away with the next concrete step to accelerate your contribution in the world.
