Wish your team could lead themselves?

You’ve probably had this thought more than once…
“I just wish my team would play nicer together, communicate effectively without my mediation, and show up as aligned individuals all owning their contribution” - CEO client of mine.
They’re not alone. Sound familiar?
You try to manage it with meetings, check-ins, pep talks, and reminders. Yet somehow, the ownership never quite shifts. Collaboration stalls, tension lingers, and you spend more time firefighting than leading.
“There has to be a better way”, you think, and you’re right, there is.
And the good news, for maxed-out leaders like you, is that real change doesn’t come from doing more yourself. It comes from creating space for your team to experiment, fail, reflect, learn and align.
And that requires bravery, trust and some patience. Not something we all have in spades when running our busy work lives with the curveballs that are often thrown at us. But a little bit of bravery, trust and patience can go a very long way with your team, so see it as an investment.
Like working with your own coach, or success partner, as I like to call it.
One-on-one Coaching
Leaders usually start with a one-on-one partnership with me as their coach. Together, we focus on five areas that shift their performance, experience and impact:
Vision – clarifying what success looks like for you, your team, and the wider organisation.
Strategy – taking aligned actions, tested and refined through reflection.
Mindset – identifying what both holds you back and builds confidence to lead with clarity.
Skillset – strengthening your capabilities to lead today and prepare for tomorrow
Energy – amplifying what energises you and reducing what drains you, so leadership feels sustainable.
The impact shows up in what leaders think, feel, and do:
Think: “I’m a good leader, and I’m human, and that’s okay.”
Feel: settled, fulfilled, confident and excited for the future.
Do: lead with ease and energy, setting culture and direction.
From one-on-one to team coaching
Once leaders experience this, the natural next question is: “Can I share you with my team?” (one of my favourite questions!)
When you’re in a good, supported place, your team will already be reaping the benefits of working for a leader who’s got their sh*t together, owning your strengths and aware of your blind spots. It’s these indirect team benefits that make me so passionate about working with team leaders.
But when you invite me to work with your team directly, that's where coaching becomes truly transformational. Combining one-to-one sessions with group work, we align leadership teams, strengthen relationships, and ensure everyone feels proud of the value they bring while raising the energy and performance of the whole team
So, who’s coaching your team?
