Energy leadership in action: our 2025 B Corp Impact Report

August 2025 marks Lead Powerful Impact’s second year as a B Corp, and what a year it’s been! 

When we certified with 130 points, I wondered: can we keep raising the bar for people, planet, and prosperity?  

The truth is, pressure is not what fuels impact. As I remind my clients, energy leadership is about leading from alignment, not exhaustion. Impact grows not from “trying harder,” but from loving what we do, aligning with purpose, and trusting that the next right step will appear.

And this year, those steps took us further than I could have imagined. 

Together with our incredible partners, clients, and collaborators, we have brought energy leadership and have: 

Coached 167 leaders on a mission, including 129 through our new pro bono community programme. 

• Supported 63 businesses towards B Corp certification, including 49 SMEs through the Good Business Accelerator. 

• Donated 5% of revenue and 8% of time to causes we care about, from The Hunger Project to B Local Scotland. 

• Reduced our carbon emissions by 38% and removed 10 tonnes through afforestation projects. 

From Glasgow to Gothenburg, Myanmar to Malawi, our work continues to ripple out across communities and continents. At the heart of it all is one mission:

helping good leaders thrive so their positive impact multiplies. 

Of course, we are still learning. Not every intention became action this year, such as tracking long-term outcomes for leaders, their organisations, and the communities they serve. But that is now a priority. Over the next 6 to 9 months, we will pilot a framework to capture those deeper, lasting impacts. 

We may still be a micro-business, but when you combine passion, community, and the power of the B Corp movement, the impact is limitless. I am excited for the next chapter: growing the Scottish B Corp community, deepening our advocacy, and showing that business can and must be a force for good.
